Under the framework of the firstcomradeship lunch of the SC & V.B and the presentation of activities that will take place in 2015, the annual development of the 5 Annual Work Programmes started: Promotional Program, Institutional, Training, Operational and Research.
Programs that are execute in response to 5 basic premises:
1) Commitment to the destination; thus creating benefits such as: breaking conventional seasonality, social-academic update of local professional associations, economic benefits (accommodation, gastronomy, venues, flights, technology, graphic material, multimedia, human resources, excursions, shopping, merchandising, professionals involved, etc.)
2) Commitment to tourism in general. The Meeting Tourism is the main promoter ofleisure tourism: on the one hand and 48% of the delegates who attended an event COME BACK with their families to the destination for leisure. On the other hand: knowing the destination, known for an event in the pre- and / or post event- generates an amplifying effect of “word of mouth” that invites others to live their experience in such destination.
3) Commitment to Professionalism and quality of services and infrastructure to be provided in the value chain of Meetings Tourism.
4) Commitment to assume the role of tools facilitator and give personal attention at the time people arrive to the destination so they choose us as their next meeting venue.
5) Promote Salta as destination for Meetings. How? a) By attracting more conferences, conventions, fairs, etc.to the destination b) through the systematic work in the SWOTof the Destination, c) raising awareness in the development and quality of infrastructure and services, d) cooperate with research and evaluation of segment e) being a key tool to the optimization and concretion of events, f) cooperating with the sector´s institutions or institutions that are indirectly linked in tourist promotion actions that increase the activity and thus modify the indexes in the flow of visitors, g) fostering an atmosphere of comradeshipamong SC & V.B members that allows us to work together for the growth and sustainability of Meetings Tourism in Salta!!
