The Business Tourism sector joins and actively commits itself to the community social development.
Recently the National Meeting of Event Venues together with their Argentine Bureaux was carried out in Salta. The meeting was promoted and organized by Instituto de Promoción Turística de la Argentina (IPROTUR – Institute for Tourism Promotion in Argentina), AOCA (Argentine Congress organizers Association), Salta´s Ministry of Tourism and Salta´s Congresses Bureau (SC&VB).
With the intention of “HELPING those who HELP”, those who were part of the meeting in behalf of different destinations of the country (Azul, CABA, Pinamar, Buenos Aires, Concordia, Paraná, Carlos Paz, Córdoba, Catamarca, Jujuy, Mendoza, Mar del Plata, Puerto Iguazu, Paraná, Santa Fe, Rosario, San Martín de los Andes, Tucumán, Trelew, Puerto Madryn, Rawson, El Calafate, Resistencia, Ushuaia, Villa la Angostura) showed their social commitment through a concrete action of social responsibility.
The aim was to cooperate with the “Fundación de Equinoterapia del Azul” (Hypnotherapy Foundation of Azul) (www.equinoterapiadelazul.com.ar) in the attempt of building a new working area for treating adults.
We counted on the cooperation of fine artist Virginia Cosseddu, who did a painting -during the three days the Meeting lasted- that she donated and was successfully auctioned at the closing night of the event.
We are ALL responsible of working together as a team for a world of INCLUSION that allows the development of our community surrounding! That is why from now on, in each city where the meeting “Encuentro de Destinos sedes de Eventos” is held, many different solidarity actions will be included that engage all of us as individuals and as institutions in a virtuous circle!!!!
According to the Royal Spanish Academy, the word DESTINATION comes from the Latin word “destinar”…, between some of its meanings are mentioned: 1. m. fate: unknown force belived to be a work above men and different events. 2. m. Intertwined events considered necessary and fatal… 7. m. Goal, finish line.
As human beings and as institutions we will keep making efforts and working to BE PART OF a sublime DESTINATION: “taking care of others, thinking about others, and helping EACH OTHER”.
