By this time of the year we start tracing our plans, we set out our strategies, we choose the appropriate tools to reach our goals… we organize our schedule!!!

It is time to FOCUS; to see our job from a global perspective; time to set 1) Clear and Realist Goals, 2) Regular results’ evaluations; 3) Organized tasks.

It is in the context of organizing our schedules to reach our goals that we understand that the only way not to get frustrated when we do not achieve our objectives is to differentiate what is “important” from what is “urgent”.

So once our schedule and tasks are completely organized we can be more flexible and allowed ourselves some extra time to arrange things that had been previously postponed, to pay attention to emergencies, to face unexpected events… What about making time to listen? What about making time to give? What about making time to be part of supportive networks? What about making time to contribute to the development of a more inclusive and fair society?

To make sense of the time we have is to prioritize the essential: be it for our own professional growth as for our development as human being, without putting aside our families, health, friends or our community.
