In the International Translation day we want to dedicate this article to all the professionals who play a main role in the Intercultural Communication of Business Tourism.
Nowadays, professional translators are an essential part of intercultural exchange (on its whole) and they are vital for the realization of regional and international meetings in this globalized world.
A task which needs highly trained professionals whose knowledge of different topics and its specific terminology is constantly updated (knowledge about law, medicine, commerce, technology, etc. in both their mother tongue as in the target language).
Their valuable experience translates not only into an understanding of the tasks associated to specialized translation such as reducing the number of ambiguities, relating and readjusting meanings, applying terminology, etc. but also in their empathy and sense of humor to convey the speaker experiences and enrich the speech.
Likewise, other features that set them apart in their ability to communicate are rhythms, voice tones, fluency and polite manners which all together lead to an excellent outcome when receiving the information that was transmitted.
