Organized by: Fundación la Tierra Habla, Federal Department of Sustainability and Environment, Universidad de Belgrano, Embassy of Brazil in Buenos Aires, and with support of ONU MUJERES (Women UN).
“It will be an opportunity for dialogue and open debate between leaders from Brazil and Argentina. Answers to different issues raised–from sustainability- and a wide range of topics from women´s point of view will be discussed. Renowned panelists, (politicians, scientists, teachers, journalists, producers, managers, economists, etc.) who are interested in working together towards sustainable development as a new way of life, will be able to interact”, said organizers Gabriela Murchio and Rossana Bril.
In World Summit Rio+20 (June 2012, Brazil), it was concluded that as for female values Sustainability and Leadership go hand in hand. Politicians, scientists, NGOs and general public participated and it was after this conference that the prestigious “Red Brasilera de Mujeres Líderes por la Sostenibilidad” (Brazilian Network of Leader Women in Sustainability) was born and it is taking place, for the first time in Argentina, on the 26 and 27 of June in the Embassy of Brazil.
