The responsibility for the competitiveness of a destination as venue of Events within the Meetings Industry naturally involves every locality that has the decisive factors and therefore is ideal for events.
As reflected in the annual statistical results provided by the Economic Observatory of the Meetings Industry in Argentina (made up by the Ministry of Tourism of the Nation, Association of Organizers and Suppliers of Conferences in Argentina and the University of Buenos Aires) in the last years Salta has been constantly working and positioning itself, with an average annual growth of 10% more national and international events.
In this context it is worthy mentioning that such growth is also visible in the creation of new Venues in various locations inside our province. Being aware that it is absolutely important to professionally maintain the good image and credibility that Salta has earned as venue of events, and that this challenge must be assumed by the whole Destination (both the Capital and all localities of the Interior); the Salta CVB together with the Ministry of Tourism of Salta has called -in each of these localities- different awareness meetings for the purpose of:
1) Communicating the mission, vision and objectives of Salta CVB according to the Marketing Plan of the Province of Salta as venue of Events,
2) Sharing the essential characteristics of the Meetings Industry,
3) Determining skills and attitudes of a Venue,
4) Making available our operating platform to provide training activities and outline business strategies,
5) Inviting everyone to actively take part as a teamwork #EquipoDestinoSalta
